Dazha Road Gong Memorial Monument is built to commemorate Dazha Road Gong. It is located in a small courtyard with yellow walls on the south side of the road in front of the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
The stele stands on a square base with a height of 1.92 meters and an area of 22.25 square meters. In the middle of the platform base is a three-step stepped stele base, 1.32 meters high. The body of the stele is 8 meters high, in the shape of a square column, wide at the bottom and closed at the top. There are 68 columns of characters on the north side, 16 columns on the east side and 74 columns on the south side. The body of the stele is intact, and most of the inscriptions are still legible.
Daza Lugong is an important minister of Zanpu Trisong Detsen, and he occupies an important position in Dalun. The monument was erected in recognition of his achievements, hence the name Jigong Monument.
