The Dianchi Xishan Cableway uses world-leading cableway equipment produced in France and Italy, half of which spans the water surface of Dianchi Lake. It is a rare cableway that crosses both water and mountains. Taking the cableway is one of the must-see items for most tourists in Kunming.
You can take the cableway at No. 16 Hubin Road (near the Dragon King Temple). Along the way, it is like stepping into a wonderful viewing corridor. You can have a panoramic view of Dianchi Lake, and you can also take pictures of Dianchi Lake with the largest angle of view on the way. Dianchi Lake is at the foot, and the majestic Xishan Mountain is at the top. The cableway also allows tourists to visit Dianchi Lake and Xishan Scenic Area conveniently.
