The Ethnic Museum of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is located on the south side of the Moonlight Square in Dukezong Ancient City, Shangri-La County. There are four exhibition halls: Natural Shangri-La, Historical Shangri-La, Cultural Shangri-La, and Today's Shangri-La.
The museum has two floors. The first floor mainly displays cultural relics unearthed from the Neolithic Age; the second floor mainly displays Tibetan medicine and Buddhism. In addition to the exhibition, there is also a consultation room for Tibetan medicine.

The Tibetan medicine consultation room on the second floor of the museum is basically closed to individual visitors.
