Dong's Mansion is located in Lutianwazi Village, Jinji Town, Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the residence of Dong Fuxiang, a famous general in the late Qing Dynasty and admiral of Gansu Province. Dong Mansion was built in1902Year,1905It was completed in 2010, covering an area of more than 100 mu when it was first built, and consisted of four parts: Hufu River, Fukuo, Outer Mansion and Inner Mansion. After a hundred years, only the inner mansion wall and the courtyard buildings in the mansion remain, covering an area of14391square meters, building area8721.9square meters.

Dong Fuxiang (1840-1908Nian), style name Xingwu, was born in Guyuan (now Ningxia), Gansu in the Qing Dynasty, and was an official to Shangshu Admiral (Admiral).

1876In the second year of Guangxu (the second year of Guangxu), Dong Fuxiang marched into Xinjiang with Zuo Zongtang and participated in the battle of pacifying Aguba. After regaining Xinjiang, he successively served as the commander-in-chief of Aksu Town and the admiral of Kashgar, stationed in Xinjiang16Year.1894In that year, he was transferred to Gyeonggi due to the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1995.1898In 1999, the Gan Army under the Ministry was incorporated into the Wuwei Army under the jurisdiction of Ronglu and became one of the three Beiyang armies.1900In 1999, the Eight-Power Allied Forces invaded Beijing and led their troops to resist with all their strength, but was subsequently dismissed due to pressure from the foreign powers.1902In 1999, Dong Fuxiang chose Jinjibao as the site to build Dongfu.1908Year2In January, he died of illness in Jinji Fort, Ningxia, and was buried in Guyuan Dynasty Mountain.

The site of Dong’s Mansion was originally a lake. It was built on a rammed loess pad, and the craftsmen and materials used were selected from all over the country. The wood comes from Gannan; the stone comes from Shaanxi; most of the carpenters are from Sichuan, most of the blacksmiths are from Baotou, and the masons are from Shaanxi; bricks, tiles and lime are all fired on site. It took more than three years, employed more than 3 million people, consumed 5 million catties of grain, and consumed 300,000 taels of silver.
