Miaoergou is located in the Zeng territory of Hami City. It used to be the seat of the Hui king's palace in Hami, Xinjiang, but the palace no longer exists today. In 1931, the palace was demolished during the war in Hami.

In the heyday of the palace, it was a huge garden with crimson rocky peaks behind it. Lao Hui Wang likes to travel and collect all kinds of plants, so many rare flowers and trees are planted in the garden. This garden has 9 layers of walls, and the scenery between each wall is different. People walk through the walls and openings of different shapes, like a maze.

Today, the remains of the palace can still be seen in Miaoergou. There is a small road behind the palace leading to a sandstone mountain in the northwest. There are five Buddhist caves lined up on the mountain. The traces of murals on the cave walls have been dilapidated. Buddhist temple ruins.

The valley of Miaoergou will be full of apricot blossoms in spring. Until autumn, the undulating slopes of the hills are covered with rich and diverse plants. Pieces of walnut trees and elms form a wide forest belt. Large alpine meadows, large and delicious flowers often make the valley exude lustrous red, blue, and lavender colors. The air here is cool, which is a good place to escape the heat in summer.
