Dongzhulin Temple is located in Shusong Township, Deqin County, on the side of National Road 214. It was first built in 1667. It was originally named "Cuocuo Chonggang Temple", which means the temple by the Crane Lake. It was one of the Thirteen Forests in Kangzang when it was built.

Dongzhulin Temple has rich collections and many precious cultural relics. Precious are the three-dimensional mandala. They are the ashrams of Guinnessa Vajra, Hero Vajra and Yamantaka. Dzi beads, agate, red turquoise and other treasures are inlaid on the mandala. There is also a living Buddha's body, which is said to have been hidden in a cave by local Tibetans during the Cultural Revolution to save it from being destroyed. In addition, various Thangkas, embroidery, scriptures, Buddha statues, Tara statues, etc. are rare treasures that are usually seen.

Dongzhulin Temple is mainly composed of the Dajing hall in the middle and a circle of monk houses around it. The Sutra hall has four floors, supported by 82 large pillars. The bottom floor is the place where monks usually meditate and chant sutras. "Three masters and apprentices"), on both sides are statues of Bodhisattvas such as Sakyamuni, Avalokitesvara, Manjusri, Tara, and Samantabhadra. The second and third floors are respectively the scripture hall and the Buddhist hall, as well as the quiet room for Khenpo (the head teacher) to chant scriptures and live. The "Three-dimensional Mandala", the treasure of the town of Dongzhulin Temple, is located in the scripture hall on the third floor. Each floor is richly decorated, decorated with sculptures, thangkas and murals, it looks resplendent and magnificent, and the atmosphere is solemn and solemn.

Every year on the 27th to 29th day of the eighth month of the Tibetan calendar, the Monk Value Festival will be held in the temple. On the festival day, a huge colorful silk and satin heap embroidered Thangka of Yama, which is 5.2 meters wide and 8.5 meters high, will be displayed, which is rare on weekdays. At first sight, it is quite precious. In addition, there are grand Tibetan opera performances and the ceremony of dancing gods.
