Dousha Pass was called Shimen Pass in ancient times, and it was the first dangerous pass for the ancients to enter Yunnan from Shu. Like a sharp sword, the rushing Guan River splits the steep stone mountain into two, forming a huge stone gate, which locks the ancient Sichuan-Yunnan main road. On the rock wall on the west bank, there are big characters such as "the hub of southern Yunnan" and "it is as dangerous as this", and it is known as "the first pass in southern Yunnan".

Doushaguan has the famous "Five Foot Road" relics. The five-foot road was first built in the Qin Dynasty, and it is about 350 meters long and five feet wide. It is an important passage for the "Shushen Poison Road" (ancient Southwest Silk Road) from Sichuan to Yunnan to Myanmar and India.

There is a Tang Stele Pavilion on Dousha Pass, and on the rock wall inside the pavilion is the famous Tang Yuan Zimo Rock. Yuan Zi was the imperial envoy of the Tang Dynasty and a famous calligrapher. This piece of Moyan was left by Yuan Zi when he was on a mission to Yunnan in 794 AD (the 10th year of Tang Zhenyuan), and he passed by Shimen Pass. It has been listed as a national key cultural relic. On the east rock wall facing Moyan, you can watch the mysterious ancient "Bo people's hanging coffin" burial. There are five hanging coffins of ancient Bo people, which are of great value to the study of the rise and fall of Bo people and are precious cultural relics.
