The City God's Temple in Xi'an is the holy place of Quanzhen sect, the mainstream of Taoism, and one of the three major City God's Temples in China. Xi'an City God's Temple was first built in the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1387). The original site was Jiuyao Street in the East Gate.

There were originally five large archways at the entrance of the temple, guarded by a pair of iron lions in front of the archways, and there is a 100-meter-long bluestone corridor in the gate, with mighty and majestic "handsome gods" guarding each other on both sides. On both sides are the East and West Taoist temples where Taoists live and practice, with a total of 33 palaces.

At that time, there were a lot of believers here, and the incense was at its peak. Today, it is a famous ancient Taoist temple in Xi'an. The architectural form is divided into three parts: the tourist area, the commercial area (including the underground) and the eating area in the back street of the Town God's Temple.
