The Duyun Tea Expo Garden was built in imitation of the Chinese teahouse complex at the Panama International Exposition 100 years ago. The tea expo garden will hold the centennial celebration of Duyun Maojian tea on September 23 and officially open to the public. 2015 is the 100th anniversary of Duyun Maojian Tea winning the award at the Panama International Exposition. For this reason, in March this year, Qiannan Prefecture and Duyun Economic Development Zone planned to build the "Duyun Tea Expo Garden" project. The construction scale of the Expo Garden ranks among the top in the country, including 1 "Tea Expo Garden Gate" building, 2 "Tea Product Trading Center" buildings, 2 "Octagonal Towers", 1 "Tea Culture Experience Center" building, 1 "Exhibition Hall" building. There are tea culture square, tea culture theme park, century-old Maojian ancient town, food city and other projects planned around the area. The century-old Maojian ancient town will become Chengdu Yunmaojian documentary filming scene base. The entire tea culture park will be constructed in accordance with the national 5A-level scenic spot standards. It will be built into a characteristic cultural industrial park integrating tourism, leisure and entertainment, and health care.
