Alishan’s famous Sandaimu refers to the wonder formed by an old tree of the same plant for three generations. It is located beside the forest trail in the Alishan Forest Recreation Area. Sandaigi is also a popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Alishan. The trail from Alishan Workstation to Sandaigi is even nicknamed "Sakuragi Flower Road".
