The Erenhot National Gate is known as the northern gate of the motherland. It stands on the border between China and Mongolia. The seven characters "People's Republic of China" are embedded on the lintel. The National Gate straddles the railway, with 4 floors, 21 meters high, 71.4 meters long and 13 meters wide. Boundary pillars 815 and 816 standing at Erlian-Zamin Uud Port on the Sino-Mongolian border are double-numbered double-standing boundary pillars among the national border stations.
Climbing up the stairs, standing on the top floor of the national gate and looking northward, you can have a panoramic view of the Zamyn-Uud Railway Station Building in the Mongolian border town with Russian architectural style, small wooden buildings with ethnic characteristics and yurts with grassland style. Through the high-power telescope , the Mongolian border town of Zamyn-Uud can be seen at a glance. The China-Mongolia Railway under the gate of the country is the main railway traffic artery connecting the capital Beijing, Ulaanbaatar and Moscow, known as the "Eurasian Continental Bridge".
