Erenhot National Geological Park is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and popular science education base. It is located in the area of Erennuoer Salt Pond, 9 kilometers northeast of the urban area. Mineral Crystal Hall, Fossil Burial Hall, Yilin Post Station Site Museum and other venues.
Erenhot National Geopark is the area where dinosaur fossils and dinosaur egg fossils were discovered in Asia. It has a wide excavation area, complete preservation of fossils and many types. It is an important base for studying dinosaur fossils, ancient vertebrate fossils and ancient mammal fossils in Asia. Together with the Erlian Salt Pond and the wetland landscape in the park, it constitutes a geological relic landscape group with extremely high research value in the park.
