The Ertan Hydropower Station is located in Panzhihua City, the southwest border of Sichuan Province, at the junction of Yanbian and Miyi counties, at the lower reaches of the Yalong River. The dam site is 33 kilometers away from the intersection of the Yalong River and the Jinsha River, and about 46 kilometers away from the urban area of Panzhihua. It is the first hydropower station developed by the cascade development of the Yalong River Hydropower Base. The upstream is the Guandi Hydropower Station, and the downstream is the Tongzilin Hydropower Station. The dam of the hydropower station is 240 meters high, the normal storage level of the reservoir is 1,200 meters above sea level, the total storage capacity is 5.8 billion cubic meters, the adjusted storage capacity is 3.37 billion cubic meters, the total installed capacity is 3.3 million kilowatts, the guaranteed output is 1 million kilowatts, and the annual average power generation is 17 billion kilowatts · At that time, the total investment was 28.6 billion yuan. The project mainly focuses on power generation, and also has other functions such as comprehensive utilization of benefits.
