Hekou Port is the largest port in the Yunnan section of the Sino-Vietnamese border, and it is also the terminal station of the Kunhe section of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway. It is a national first-class port. It is located at the southern end of Hekou County, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, across the river from Lao Cai City, Vietnam, with a border of 193 kilometers.
