Mount Everest Mountaineering Museum is a museum located in the Tibet Mountaineering School. The museum opened on May 12, 2008. It mainly introduces the topography and ecological species in the Mount Everest area, and helps visitors understand the history of human climbing Mount Everest, as well as the history and related knowledge of mountaineering.

Entering the exhibition hall, the first thing that catches the eye is a model of the Himalayas. The four parts of the exhibits systematically introduce the geography, biodiversity, legendary savage stories, local folk customs, and the experience of foreigners on Mount Everest. Expedition activities, the history of Chinese climbing Mount Everest, major events and some common sense of mountaineering, etc. Including some precious materials since the first time humans climbed Mount Everest in 1953, and some precious materials in the development of Chinese mountaineering, which can help people understand the whole process of humans climbing Mount Everest.
