The Evergreen Tree of China-Myanmar Friendship is located in Mangshi, Yunnan Province. In order to enhance the friendship between the people of China and Myanmar and strengthen patriotism education, the People's Government of Dehong Prefecture, with the support of people from all walks of life, raised funds to build two Burmese osmanthus trees On the tree platform, the "Myanmar Gui Pavilion" with national characteristics was built. Green lawns were built around the trees and pavilions. Behind the trees and in front of the pavilion, two white elephants, which are regarded as auspicious and friendly symbols by the border people of China and Myanmar, were erected. The statues, pavilions and trees complement each other, and the scenery expresses each other and integrates into one. It has become a beautiful scenery in Luxi Mang City Hotel and one of the famous tourist attractions in Dehong. In 1996, the Yunnan Provincial Government identified the Myanmar Guiting Pavilion and the China-Myanmar Friendship Evergreen Tree as one of the first batch of patriotic education bases in Yunnan Province.
