There are more than 60,000 kinds of newspapers and more than 1.1 million copies on display. The newspapers and periodicals in the collection have been included in the Guinness Book of Records in the World. Special special-shaped newspapers include extra-large newspapers and small newspapers; newspapers with a short circulation time; there are also palm newspapers, postcard newspapers, business card newspapers, silk newspapers, fan newspapers, and so on. The unique one is the small newspaper——"Jiangnan Travel News", which is the first small full-color micro-newspaper. It is to commemorate the "9.27" World Tourism Day and the 1997 China Tourism Year.
