Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Hall is located in Kaohsiung County, facing east from west. It is a memorial hall built by Master Hsing Yun to enshrine the Buddha tooth relic. The memorial hall has been completed after 9 years. Now, in addition to the main building, there is also a grand layout of the so-called "eight pagodas in the front, a big Buddha in the back, Lingshan in the south, and Gion Garden in the north". Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Hall is a building that integrates ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, traditional and modern, and has the functions of culture and education, wisdom and practice. The building of the museum is precisely in the hope that by enshrining the dharmakaya relics representing the Buddha's mighty virtue and wisdom, people can develop their own pure Buddha nature while paying respect to the Buddha's relics, and inject goodness and sincerity into the world, bringing society of stability and harmony.
