He Yingqin's former residence is located 45 kilometers south of Xingyi City, in a small market town among peak forests and stone forests, about two hours' drive away. It is famous for being the former residence of Mr. He Yingqin, Chief of Staff of the Military Commission, Minister of Military and Political Affairs, and Commander-in-Chief of the Army.

The former residence of He Yingqin is divided into old and new parts, which are not far away and can be visited together. One is located on Nidang Street, which is a new residence. It is located on the mountainside and consists of a front hall, a hatchback and a main hall. On the right hand side of the entrance is the former residence management office, where you can find a guide. The stone carvings and wood carvings in the former residence are very exquisite, and there are many collections related to He Yingqin, such as objects, pictures, and calligraphy. The other is in Fengbowan, about 3 kilometers away from Nidang Town. It is an old house built on the hillside. The stone castle seems to be built on a dragon head that "turns back to the dragon". The buildings in the castle are composed of the main hall, hatchback, garden, fish pond and so on. You can take a car to visit the former residence on Nidang Street, and then walk to Fengbowan to visit. It takes about 3 hours to visit the two former residences, and you can dine at the reception center opposite the former residence in Nidang Town. Both former residences have parking lots, suitable for self-driving friends.

must see tips

1. The weather in Guizhou is changeable. Xingyi to Nidang are all winding winding roads. In case of rain, self-driving tourists please slow down and pay attention to safety.

2. After the visit, if you have enough time, you can visit the nearby Nidang Stone Forest.

3. Since most of the floors of the former residence are made of wooden structures and are old, please try to walk slowly when visiting.
