Li Bai's Former Residence Scenic Spot is located in Qinglian Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, and is a national 4A-level scenic spot. Li Bai (701-762), courtesy name Taibai, nicknamed Qinglian Jushi, was born in Qinglian Township, Changlong County, Mianzhou (now Qinglian Town, Jiangyou, Sichuan Province). Also known as "Li Du". Li Bai has always had the lofty ideal of "helping the common people and making the country safe". At the age of 25, he resigned from his relatives and traveled far away, and left Shu with a sword. Because of Li Lin's defeat, he was sent to Xunyang Prison and exiled Yelang. In his later years, he had white hair and volunteered for the military service, fell ill halfway, and went to Li Yangbing, the magistrate of Dangtu County, Anhui Province, and later died in Dangtu at the age of 62.
