Former Residence of Nie Er

Nie Er's former residence is located at No. 3 Beimen Street, Yuxi City. It is a wooden structure building with one floor on the first floor. Half of the relief patterns are still faintly visible on the eaves downstairs on the street.

Nie Er's former residence was built by Nie Er's great-grandfather Nie Liandeng in the late Qing Dynasty and passed down to Nie Er's father Nie Hongyi. In the twenty-eighth year of Guangxu (AD 1902), Nie Hongyi went to Kunming to practice medicine and left her to live with Nie Er's sister-in-law Wang Jingzhen.
