Generally, you only need to visit 1- 2 hours will do.
The interior of the former residence is all restored according to the original layout of the young marshal when he lived here. There are various rooms such as the living room, study room, and bedroom, as well as the large chandelier in the living room, the record player, and the romantic bedroom of Miss Zhao Si, etc. The noble, quiet and beautiful details are all showing the identity of the former owner. There is also a graphic introduction about Zhang Xueliang's life in the house, where you can learn about the general's life story. The former residence will provide two free explanations every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and the specific time will be adjusted and determined according to the number of tourists.
In addition to being a restored former residence exhibition hall, the former residence now also provides dining services. Visitors can come and eat the same Zhang’s private kitchen dishes at the table where the young marshal once ate, and experience the luxurious life of the young marshal.
