The former site of Southwest Associated University is located on the campus of Yunnan Normal University. It is a precious historical relic, commemorating the era when the Chinese people overcame difficulties and saved the country through education during the Anti-Japanese War. Today, the school buildings and classrooms of Southwest Associated University, as well as statues, monuments, etc. are preserved here, allowing visitors to understand this period of history in detail.

Southwest Associated University was formed when the Japanese army threatened our eastern cities during the Anti-Japanese War, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Tianjin Nankai University moved together to Southwest Associated University. Some well-known scholars have taught here, and among the students are Nobel Prize winners, many academicians, two bombs and one satellite, etc.

Now when you visit the old site, you can see the classrooms, dormitories, statues of Wen Yiduo and other teachers, and the monument to the 121 Movement. It is worth seeing that on the west side of the tomb of the four martyrs of "One, Two, One", there is a monument to Southwest Associated University. The inscription is about 1,000 characters, which records the whole process of the founding of the University, which is very precious.
