The Dome of Light is located in the dome hall on the first basement floor of Formosa Boulevard MRT, and was painted by the internationally renowned artist Maestro Narcissus Quagliata. The work emphasizes the spirit of "love and tolerance", and uses a picture to describe the process of human beings in the world, from birth, growth, glory, to destruction, and then reincarnation. The "Dome of Light" took nearly 4 years to complete. This public artwork with a diameter of 30 meters and a dome area of 660 square meters was commissioned by German artisans to make it according to the Narcissus master. Formosa Boulevard MRT Station was also selected by the American travel website BootsnAll as "2012 Beautiful Subway Station" for its "Dome of Light".
