The building is composed of upper, lower, outer, middle and front yards, facing south from north. It is mainly related to the emperor's hall, Sanyi hall, verandah, bell and drum tower, monk's tower and other buildings, all of which were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The main hall is Guandi Hall, which is three rooms wide and eight rafters deep, with a single eaves hanging from the top of the mountain, nine front porch-style buildings, and four rolling dragon columns on the front porch are exquisitely carved. Sanyi Hall is three rooms wide, six rafters deep, with a single eaves resting on the top of the mountain, seven front porch buildings, and murals painted on the inner eaves and two mountains. The stories of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are carved on the four pillars of the front porch.

The more famous stone carvings in the scenic area are different in each courtyard. The stone carvings in the second entrance courtyard are full of childishness, and the pillars of the north pavilion are carved with goats and horses. The building has strong folk architectural features of Shanxi Ming and Qing Dynasties, and those stone and wood carvings are full of tradition, auspiciousness and even enlightenment.
