Fugu Old City, about 1 km away from Fugu New County, is an ancient city built by the Yellow River. The old city of Fugu was built in the Five Dynasties period. Now tourists can see that the ancient city was built in the early Ming Dynasty. It has a history of about 500 years. It is also a relatively complete stone city in northern my country.

The entire Fugu Old City has four gates and three small gates. At present, Fugu County is planning to repair the ancient city on a large scale. There are two words "Fuzhou" on the south gate. When you pass through the south gate and Wengcheng, you can enter the ancient city.

The more important scenic spot in the old city is the Fugu Confucian Temple, which is a relatively large-scale and well-preserved Confucian temple in Yulin. It was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1381). It is very exquisite. On the banner of the hall, there was a plaque written by Emperor Kangxi before, "Teacher of All Ages".

According to legend, the Fugu Confucian Temple is where the Fugu Museum is located, and many authentic local cultural relics are here, but no tourists have actually seen cultural relics here, although there are indeed several houses in the Confucian Temple that have been locked all the time. In addition to visiting the scenic spots in the ancient city, it is also a good feeling to overlook the Yellow River at the foot of the city wall.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the new city of Fugu County to the old city, and it costs about 10 yuan if you take a taxi. On the way, we will pass Thousand Buddha Caves and Ronghe Academy, but there are no collections in these two places, but you can take a look at the appearance of the grottoes and old buildings.
