Tuoniang River starts from Tingnong Village, Liancheng Town, Guangnan County, Yunnan Province, the source of Yujiang River, and ends at the confluence of Boai Town, Funing County and Nama River and Puting River. The legend of "Packing Mother" was named after Nong Zhigao in the Northern Song Dynasty who carried his mother across the river in the Baiyang area.
