Baotou Yinhe Plaza is located in the center of Baotou, adjacent to Iron and Steel Street in the south and Minzu East Road in the west, with a total area of about 100,000 square meters, and the green area accounts for more than 85% of the total area. It was completed in 1998.
The fountain in the center of Yinhe Square is based on the administrative division of Baotou City. It is a modern artificial comprehensive waterscape integrating music fountain, water screen movie and laser show system. These three sets of performance systems are demonstrated alternately over the square, decorating the night sky of Baotou City more brilliantly and colorfully. What is unique is that there are deer herds on the lawn of Yinhe Square, and the deer herds live in harmony with tourists, which reflects the Mongolian meaning of Baotou, "a place with deer".
