Galila Temple, also known as Shinaihai Temple, is located in Galila Village, Shinaihai Township, Gonghe County, Qinghai Province, 100 meters away from Qinghai Lake. It is a typical Tibetan Buddhist temple.
The main hall of the monastery is all made of stone flakes, which is very similar to the Tibetan-style buildings in southern Qinghai and northwestern Sichuan. The Mani Palace in the temple is a great sight. The Mani Turning Palace is half buried in the ground. Being here and turning the huge prayer wheel, there is a feeling of being out of this world. The temple is close to Qinghai Lake, surrounded by lush grasslands and springs, which is a very typical wetland landscape. Come here in midsummer, you can have a panoramic view of the green grass mountains and the blue lake.
