The architectural style of the castle depends on the local style and building materials, there are three kinds of stone, mud and wood. Xiuba Millennium Castle is a stone and wood structure. The ancient castle is also called Rongbao, which is commonly known as the Beacon Tower. There are many ancient castle groups in Gongbu Jiangda County, and the Xiuba Ancient Castle Group is one of the larger and more complete ones. Field research by experts has confirmed that the castle was built in the late Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than a thousand years. The ancient castle group is composed of 5 fortresses of different heights, with a distance of about 30 to 50 meters. The fortresses echo each other and form the horns of each other. It is unbelievable that the entire castle is actually made of flakes and wooden boards, with a small interior and no roof. The exterior presents a geometric shape of 12 sides and 12 prisms, and the interior is a regular octagon. The wall of the fortress is about 2 meters thick and very strong, and the inside is embedded with wooden boards, allowing the defending party to climb to the top and attack. There is a lookout hole on the top floor of the castle, where you can observe every move of the enemy troops in a radius of tens of miles at any time; and when defending, you can also shoot arrows at the invading enemy, effectively killing the opponent in time. The top of the fort can also set off beacon smoke to send advice to distant friendly forces and ask for support.
