Glacier No. 1 is located in Tiangeer Mountain, 125 kilometers southwest of the urban area, with an altitude of more than 3,860 meters, a length of about 2.2 kilometers, an average width of 500 meters, and an area of 1.8 square kilometers. There are more than 150 modern glaciers of various sizes around it. Due to the concentration of modern glaciers, typical glacial landforms and sediments, and intact and clear preservation of ancient glacial relics, Glacier No. 1 is an ideal place for my country to observe and study modern glaciers and ancient glacial relics.
Drive south along National Highway 216, and you can reach the near side of Glacier No. 1, where there is a light blue and crystal glacier silver waterfall.
