Gongchen Building

Gongchen Tower in the ancient city of Weishan was originally the north gate tower of Menghua Acropolis. It was built in the 23rd year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1390). layer. Gongchen Tower is built on a brick city wall with a length of 47.1 meters, a width of 26.6 meters and a height of 8.1 meters. The downstairs is the city gate.

Gongchen Building is a double-eave Xieshan-style building, with five rooms 25.76 meters wide, 15.7 meters deep, and 16 meters high. It is supported by 28 encircling large columns. The four corners of the eaves use eaves pillars, the roof is relatively flat, the corners are short, the warping is small, and the ridge is flat, which is more majestic and vigorous. There are battlements on the north and south walls. Climbing to the top floor, you can still see the sky. You can see the mountains of Wenhua in the east, Wenbi Pagoda in the south, the Guajiang River in the west, and the snow in Cangshan Mountain in the north. You can have a panoramic view of the villages in Sichuan and thousands of lights.
