It is located in Gangdui Township, Gongga County, Shannan Prefecture, about 10 kilometers west of the county seat. The temple is also known as Duojidan Temple, commonly known as Gongga Temple, and is a Sakya temple. It was first built in 1464, and the builder of the temple was Tudun Gongga Nanjie (1432-1496). The central part of the temple is the main hall. In the north is Gongsangzi, in the east is Renqingang, in the south is Gongtang, and in the west is Drepung. In addition, there are some small auxiliary buildings. At the beginning of the 20th century, Gongga Qude Temple underwent large-scale maintenance. The murals of the temple are divided into four parts: the first part is on the outer wall of the Buddhist hall, and the left and right sides of the south wall of the Buddhist hall are statues of eminent monks of the Sakya sect. The second part is the murals of the original scripture hall, which are located on the east wall of the east side hall and the west wall of the west side hall. The third part is located on the wall of the Sutra Hall, and the subject matter is consistent with the murals of the original Sutra Hall. The fourth part is the Tantric murals in the Tantric hall, which has a strong national color.
