Gongtang Pagoda is the landmark building of Labrang Monastery, and the pagoda is beautiful and dazzling in the sun.
The Gongtang Pagoda is located on the south side of Labrang Monastery, and tourists will pass by here when they turn clockwise along the Zhuanjing Road from the east side of Labrang Monastery. From a distance, you can see a huge five-story pagoda. The top of the pagoda is a golden cylinder, and there are exquisite and dazzling Buddha statues on the side. It is very spectacular. You can take pictures outside it first.
After entering the Gongtang Pagoda, you can start to watch the inside of the pagoda. According to the rituals of Tibetan Buddhism, every floor in the hall also needs to be visited in a clockwise circle.

1. The local area needs to respect the beliefs and customs of the ethnic minorities. Before entering the main hall of the temple, you need to take off your hat. After entering, you must not make any noise, and you must not directly point your finger at the Buddha statue.
2. Before ascending to the open area on the top, no photos are allowed in all areas inside the temple.
3. The space on the top of the pagoda is open, without fences, and the internal stairs are dark and narrow, so pay attention to safety.
