The Daheiting Reservoir is located on the main stream of the Luan River, 5 kilometers north of Qianxi County, Tangshan City. With an area of 79%, Daheiting Reservoir is an annual regulating reservoir with a total storage capacity of 337 million cubic meters. About 30 kilometers upstream of the reservoir is the Panjiakou Reservoir. The two reservoirs of Daheiting and Panjiakou are jointly used to play the role of flood control and water supply. Daheiting Reservoir is also called Lixiang Lake, which is more poetic.
