The inscription is engraved in Yin, with a literal width of 81.5 cm and a residual height of 53 cm. The lower part has been destroyed. Literally, the space between square frames is finely carved with negative lines, and each frame is about 4 cm high and 3.5 cm wide. Due to years of weathering and severe erosion, many of the inscriptions have been blurred. However, judging from the inscription and the year title of "the third year of Tang Xianqing" in the text, it is an inscription on the third year of Tang Xianqing (658). Acting envoy Wang Xuance went to Tianzhu (now India) and passed through Jilong on the way. This precious inscription is of great significance and value for further research on issues such as the ancient Tang Dynasty and the relationship between China and foreign countries. On June 25, 2001, the Tianzhu Temple of the Tang Dynasty, as an ancient building in 658 AD, was approved by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
