Guancang Gorge in Ganglong Township, southeast of Gande County, has an altitude of 3,400 to 3,600 meters at the bottom of the gorge, and is known as "the first gorge of the Yellow River in the world".

The river here has a huge drop, the current is turbulent, and there are many dangerous peaks and steep walls on both sides of the river. In addition, there are many waterfalls of different sizes and scales, forming a spectacular momentum.

Guancang Gorge also has charming scenery on both sides of the canyon, and there are primitive forest areas dominated by Qinghai spruce, Qilian juniper, birch and aspen. On both sides of the canyon, because of the nourishment of the Yellow River, the water and grass are abundant, and there are a large number of plateau wild animals inhabiting the grass in the forest.
