Guandou Mountain Stone Sculpture is located between Xinhua Fen Mountain and Luohan Mountain in Gaotian Township, 40 kilometers northeast of Weixin County, Zhaotong City, with an altitude of 1880 meters. Guandou Mountain Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty, with Guandou Mountain as the center, and there are more than ten temples such as Kunlun Mountain, Xiaoxitian, and Shensulin Mountain. The temple was burned several times. During the period of the Republic of China, nine main halls were restored and distributed on the ridge of Guandou Mountain from east to west, covering an area of 6,200 square meters. At present, only the ruins of Jiudian remain.

Guandou Mountain Stone Sculpture is close to Tianxing National Forest Park, where there are majestic peaks, piles of emerald green, ten thousand acres of bamboo sea, and clear mountain springs. Temples were built on this mountain as early as the Ming Dynasty more than 700 years ago. After several generations of management in the Ming, Qing, and Republic of China, it integrated the teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism into one mountain. After the temple was destroyed, three main halls have been rebuilt, and a large number of stone carvings and inscriptions remain.
