Guangnan Babao Scenic Area is located in Guangnan County in southeastern Yunnan, 160 kilometers away from Wenshan. Mainly dominated by peak clusters, peak forests, and karst waterfalls, it consists of four areas: Babao, Kono, Tangna Karst Cave, and Sanla Waterfall, with a total area of 68 square kilometers.
The melting peak is generally 50-100 meters high and has a sharp cone shape. There are also a small number of isolated peaks in the center of the basin, with a height of less than 50 meters. Babao has 25 large and small rivers. The Babao River flows from Hemei Lake and flows slowly from south to north. The water is clear and transparent. Especially the section from Heye to Bajia by boat, which is 6.5 kilometers long, with mountains and rivers interdependent, villages and farmhouses, known as "Little Guilin".
Mumei is an ancient village of the Yi nationality. The Yi people here are good at singing and dancing. They dance strings and sing folk songs every festival, which is very lively. The two bronze drums preserved in the village are rare treasures.
