Guanyin Cave is located on the hillside of Shoushan Mountain by the Xuantang River. It is two natural caves connected one above the other, and it is the largest Buddhist temple in a cave in Southwest China. The lower cave is the Mahavira Hall, with sculptures of Tathagata Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Amitabha Buddha and eighteen Arhats; the upper cave has sculptures of Guanyin Bodhisattva, Shancai Boy and Dragon Girl. There are a total of 27 Buddha statues in the upper and lower caves. The statues are lifelike and lifelike. The two halls are filled with cigarettes, adding to the mysterious and solemn atmosphere. On a vertical cliff outside the cave, there are three big characters "Guanyin Cave" inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, chairman of the Chinese Buddhist Association.
