Guanyin Cave is located on Qingnian Road on the left side of Youzha Street in the south of Guiyang City. There is a natural cave in the middle of the mountain. Outside the cave is a Buddhist temple with towering buildings. There is a sitting statue of Guanyin in the cave, so it is called Guanyin Cave. The mountain is named after the cave, also commonly known as Guanyin Mountain.
Guanyin Cave, with an area of more than 100 square meters, has exquisite stalactites on the four walls, which are like jade muscles when touched, and like clouds when viewed. The Guanyin Temple was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. There is a Buddhist hall outside the cave, and there are three couplets in the guest room. Now the halls are towering, straight up to the clouds, and the Buddha Hall has become the core building of the temple.
