Guanyin Hall was founded in the tenth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (AD 1582), and has a history of more than 430 years. It is a well-preserved temple in Changzhi City. The exquisitely designed, exquisitely crafted and exquisitely shaped painted and suspended sculptures in the main hall of the courtyard have extremely high artistic value and historical value of cultural relics.

The Guanyin Hall faces east to west, and there are two existing courtyards. On the central axis, there are Shanmen, Xiangting, and Guanyin Hall in sequence. The bell and drum towers are located on both sides of the mountain gate, and the left and right side halls face each other. An ancient juniper in the courtyard has a history of thousands of years, tall and straight, lush and lush.

What you see when you enter the gate is not a temple, but a small mound. After crossing the arch bridge on the west and entering the middle gate, there is an open space, which has a sense of twists and turns, ethereal and deep. Tianwang Hall is the front hall of Guanyin Hall. There are bell and drum towers on both sides. Climbing up the steps, you can have a panoramic view of the surrounding fields from the tower. The Hall of Heavenly Kings is the side hall, and the back hall is the Guanyin Hall, also known as the Dashi Hall.

The Guanyin Hall is three rooms wide and two rooms deep, with a single eaves hanging from the top of the mountain. Above the lintel hangs a plaque engraved with three gilt characters of "Guanyin Hall". It was inscribed by Gao Qin, Minister of the Ministry of War in the 11th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (AD 1583), and it has been preserved to this day, which is really valuable. The walls on the three sides of the hall, the beams on the roof, and the tops of the doors and windows are all painted clay sculptures and hanging sculptures painted in gold. In the small three halls, there are about 500 statues, painted and suspended, blending Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism.
