Gucha Mountain, also known as Three Stones, is located in the southwest of Qinghai Lake, 8 kilometers away from the lake in the south and 20 kilometers away from Bird Island in the northwest. The three stone islands are not open yet, and tourists can only view them from a distance on land. You can take pictures of the landforms and birds on the island with a large telephoto lens. Looking from a distance, it looks like three huge giant tripods standing in the waves, and the water beats the waves, which is thrilling. The three stones are composed of reefs, gravel beaches and sand ridges. They are about 700 meters long from east to west and about 150 meters wide from north to south. The southern slope of the reef is relatively gentle, while the northern side is steep. The vegetation on the island is sparse, and there are only gray vegetables and Artemisia oxtail growing in the gaps between the broken stones, and the coverage is less than 5%. This is one of the islands where many birds gather in Qinghai Lake, and the number of birds living on the reefs has exceeded that of Bird Island.
