Guishan National Forest Park is located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County in the southeast of Kunming City, the capital of Yunnan Province. It is mainly the community vegetation composed of Dianqinggang, Qingxiangmu, Huangmaoqinggang and Rhododendron. With the ups and downs of Guishan's terrain, the lawn is also divided into several tables, which is quite interesting. Especially in spring and midsummer, there are abundant ferns such as clover, coleus, Yunnan comfrey, stone oak, gentian and other grasses and flowers blooming brilliantly. Precious plants and natural medicinal herbs are found in every corner of Mount Gui, and there are more than 460 kinds of common plants. The national second-level protected plants include: red toon, Yunnan camphor wood, three-pointed fir, beech, Magnolia officinalis, Eucommia, fan fern, etc.; the provincial second-level protected plants include: Xiaoguo Nanzhu, Cracked Fruit Tea; the provincial third-level protected plants include: Dianxiangmu, Chatiaomu, Shishigonggong, thorny yellow lotus, etc., also has the three famous flowers of Camellia, Rhododendron and Primrose, which Yunnan people are proud of. There are more than 100 kinds of medicinal herbs such as grass bird, leaf flower, Gastrodia elata, three needles, pinellia, lily ebony, gentian, and platycodon.
