Gu Kede, about 3,500 meters above sea level, is called "the place where wild geese live" in Yi language. It is located at the node of the Southwest Silk Road, in the corridor of the Tibetan, Qiang and Yi cultures, and is a highland of cultural exchanges across ancient and modern times.
