The big characters of Han Li are the only authentic Cao Cao handwriting that can be seen so far. In 219 AD, Huang Zhong knifed Xia Houyuan at the foot of Dingjun Mountain, Cao Cao was furious, and personally commanded the army to attack Liu Bei in Hanzhong. Liu Bei guarded against the danger and did not confront him, consuming Cao's army. After several months of confrontation, Cao Jun's food and grass were unable to cope, and his morale was low, so he retreated to Baogukou. One day, Cao Cao led the civil servants and military officers to observe the scenery of Shimen. Seeing the Bao River rushing down, hitting rocks and flying flowers, he wrote the word "Gunxue" with a pen. Cao Cao clapped his palms and laughed: "How can a river be short of water?"
