Gyatsola Pass is also known as Dingrijie, with an altitude of 5,220 meters. It is the pass of Mount Everest Nature Reserve. A huge signboard of the reserve is erected on the road, and countless prayer flags are flying in the wind. When the weather is fine, standing at the Gyatso La pass, you can not only overlook Mount Everest, but also overlook the other three peaks, Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Makalu, all of which are over 8,000 meters above sea level. It is rare to see four 8,000-meter-level peaks at the same pass, which is rare among the passes crossed by the 318 line or even all the roads in the world.
