Haiburi Sacred Mountain is located in the east of Samye Monastery, with a relative altitude of about 60 meters. It is one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet. According to legend, when the Samye Temple was built, a group of demons made chaos here. Master Rinpoche practiced magic on this mountain, and the Samye Temple was built after he used huge stones to cast down the demons.
