Haidong Town, located on the east bank of the Erhai Lake in Dali City, Yunnan Province, has a long history. The territory is mainly karst landform. Every village has been connected to roads. It is rich in tourism resources.
Jinsuo Island is the largest island in Erhai Lake, and it is also a typical fishing village. The island is surrounded by the sea and has beautiful scenery. Haidong people are warm and hospitable, and they still retain the custom of killing pigs in the twelfth lunar month and receiving Buddha wheels in the first month to treat guests.
