Haihui Academy is located in Daqiao Village, Beiliu Town, Yangcheng County, Jincheng City. It is a thousand-year-old ancient temple with a history of at least 1,100 years. The temple was founded in the Sui Dynasty and had a considerable scale in the Tang Dynasty. Later, it was rebuilt and added to a large scale. The Ming and Qing Dynasties were the heyday of the academy. Haihui Academy is a famous academy famous in the Jin Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, 68 Scholars came out successively, and there were even more talented scholars. Among them are Wang Guoguang and Zhang Shenyan, Shangshu of the Ministry of Officials in Yangcheng, and Sun Juxiang, Shangshu of the Ministry of Households. Chen Tingjing, a scholar of the Kangxi Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Dunren, a great mathematician of the Qianlong Dynasty, etc. The Academy covers an area of 34,800 square meters and is divided into the Tang and Ming Towers Area, the Academy Cultural Area, the Millennium Ancient Temple Area and the "Haihui Longqiu", one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Yangcheng. In particular, the glazed pagoda, praised as "the treasure of the country" by ancient architecture experts, is a good example of Chinese pavilion-style pagodas. As early as 1965, it was identified as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Shanxi Province, and was approved to be listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 2006.
